Remote start, power locks, keyless entry, power windows (In NC) RIDICULOUS!!

What's up with the high prices? :( I'm in eastern NC and below are the average prices I have been quoted on my 2005 XE KC including labor. Many require you to buy parts from them, other will install your equipment, however will increase the labor prices. :(

Remote start:~350-400
Power locks with switch $~250
Power Windows $~350

Can anyone recommend a shop in Eastern NC (from RDU to Greenville)? All of these can be bought online for real cheap. Hoping to find a good shop that will install if I buy and not kill me with exaggerated install prices. The above adds up ~$1000! Ridiculous IMO.

I got my alarm, power windows and locks all installed for about $400 here. Yours doesnt sound right.
I don't know exactly how much mine was, but it was probably $800. Reason why I don't know was I bought my truck at invoice the way I wanted it, but when it came in it had floor mats and Bed extender. They said we will install the remote entry, power window and locks and you get the floor mats and bed extender for $1000.00

I also called around to see how much and the prices I got were around $800.00
Installed power windows and locks... meaning you didn't have them in the first place right? I thought it would be more money than that! Heck I'd install power windows and locks for sure on mine for that price!
Trying to find an honest shop but without the inflated prices. Maybe I'm daydreaming. The various parts (kits) can be had for around $300-$350 for everything. I am having a hard time digesting the labor. I think $700 labor is ridiculous especially when they can install everything at the same time with all the panels already off and the wires and harnesses already exposed.
You need to look at the brand names and warranties when comparing prices too. Cheap stuff on the internet is usually just that.

Yup I have an XE King Cab. I got
Power windows with 2 switches on drivers door and one on passenger door.
Power locks 1 lock/unlock switch on the dash.
Remote entry 2 key chain remotes

I am not sure what brand the place used on mine but I brought my truck back last week because the windows seemed to be working slower then they used to. The place replaced them, this is 3 years later so I was happy.

I wish I could have done it myself , but I couldn't so I just paid. Sux for sure but better for me to pay them and have it work.

Make sure to give us an update when you get it done.

I would like to just buy the equipment and find a knowledgeable Titan member here who has done it before and have him install this stuff and would rather pay him instead of a shop.
