I noticed I have little chip or tear in the black vinyl wrap that is where the front and back door meet in the window. Can you remove these and are they just the color of factory paint under them if you remove?

Another member here also has that issue, I’d have them redo it, it looks odd without it. They install it to make the windows look less surrounded by a boundary, it blends in with the rear window. Looks even better with front windows tinted.
Removing the tape itself it will not be that difficult as your truck is fairly new. The challenge will be getting off all the adhesive left behind and getting the shine back. The blackout tape also goes under the belt molding which is a pain to remove, it will probably break or bend. Also you will have to pull down rubber window seal. Take my advice and make the dealer fix it, your truck is to new.
I had the same issues with my red 2005 and I went to Amazon and bought some black carbon fiber vinyl and went over it. It's cheap and easy to apply after watching some youtube videos. I've also put it on my sun damaged hood, roof, tailgate, side mirrors, door handles, bumpers, wheels and side lettering. It's nice being retired.
I looked for black wrap on the doors of my 18 Pro-4X in monotone black. All I see is black paint. What models have the door wraps that folks are having issues with?
