Hi Guys, first time posting.

I haven't see this question answered before so I am hoping someone will be able to help me.

I have a 2004 Nissan Titan Crew Cab which currently has a rusted out manual sliding rear window. Looking online, a fixed window is less than half the price to buy as a replacement. I never used the back vent anyway (unless I locked my keys in the car), so the question is can I simply remove the old sliding window and put a fixed window in its place? Will I need to do any modifications?

Thanks in Advance

In 2004, the rear sliding glass opened right to left (slid sideways). 2005 & on opened down and required the space in the rear bulkhead for the glass to roll down into. On your 2004, there is no need for any of that.

Just an edumacated guess, but since there are no additional requirements of the cab bodywork to accommodate the 2004 rear window, I don't see any good reason why the fixed glass wouldn't fit in place of the existing slider. Based on the way the glass meets the cab and the window seal required, they should both be the same as far as the opening in the rear of the cab is concerned...
