Rough Country 6" lift shudder

I know this has been brought up before but here goes again. Installed the 6" lift on my 2013 2wd SL and now have a shudder on take off. If I leave slow it does not do it but if I get on it in anyway it is there. Seems like driveshaft angle but RC says I need traction bars. What do you guys say?

I installed the RC traction bars with PRG upgraded hiems, and mine behaves much better. Mine is not lifted, so no pinion shims needed, although I did check my driveline angles with an inclinometer when I was troubleshooting my shudder/shaking/driveline vibration issues. Check your angles, then install traction bars and pinion shim if needed. That should iron out your axle wrap issues.

you definitely need tractions bars! i was in the same boat as you with my 2wd LWB when i first installed my 8" lift. from a dead stop and just pressing the gas like normal the back end would shake/vibrate. i felt something was eventually gonna break! so for awhile there i had to ease of the gas pedal when i moved forward. after much research i invested in some traction bars. CJD to be exact as he was able to custom make mine since i'm LWB! biggest mod improvement and i love to this date!

a 1 degree shim helped mine out. Tried the .5 and 1.5, but 1.0 degrees worked best.
