So I am planning a full service on a used vehicle I just purchased and wanted to verify I had all the right oils in stock and ran into a hiccup with a few quarts of Royal Purple 75W90 that I use in the front diff of the Titan.

I was looking for the GL-5 rating (specified for diffs in the new vehicle) and couldn't find any mention of a rating/classification on the bottle.

No biggy, just jump on the web and confirm it on their site yeah?

Well, no... I dig high and low and the only literature I can find mentioning the GL-5 rating is "Max Gear is recommended for use in truck and automotive front or rear differentials, manual transmissions and lower gear units of marine engines that specify use of an API GL-5 or GL-4 fluid.".

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that DOES NOT state the oil is GL-5 rated... more annoyingly, it stinks of deliberate marketing language to hide the lack of a rating.
Can anyone find something to the contrary or have I been deceived into buying a non GL-5 rated oil by RP?
