I took my truck to Nissan and they did the "Brake Flush". However, while doing so, they broke the bleeder screw for one of the rear brakes. It was rusted due to the salt and snow while being stationed in Illinois.

My question, how can I fix this? Nissan quoted me almost 300 dollars for the brake caliper. Do I need the whole brake caliper( caliper, piston etc.) or do I just need the caliper itself?

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. BTW, I have an 05' CC LE in case it made a difference.

Thanks!

The bleeder screws right into the caliper. Very doubtful you could get it out without ruining the caliper anyway...

I second bestatchess. If that doesn't work and you have a metric tap set you could drill and tap it out, use an insert (i.e. heli coil) so that a standard bleeder screw will fit.
