He's had something done to it exhaust-wise then. That thing has a sound all its own and can hardly be described as ricey. Ever hear a Viper get on it?...same exact sound. Deep, throaty and mean sounding.roy365 said:I was on my way home today and i saw a Ram SRT/10 weaving in and out of traffic. Thing was bad a** looking all lowered and mean looking. And we all know how fast they are. But, when he gets a shot he nails it and the thing sounds like a rice rocket?!?!?!?!?! I have NEVER heard a truck sound like that before. No throaty grumble, no deep rumble.....just a raspy nasty racket. There is no way i could own such a fast a** truck and it sound like that!!!! Other than that.......yeah i was drooling. Sorry guys.
Oh it was quite obvious he had aftermarket exhaust.......but whichever kind he chose sounded like sh**!!! I couldnt have it!!!HudsonValleyTitan said:He's had something done to it exhaust-wise then. I am 99.9% sure it was a real one. No hemi moves out like this thing did. It's just whatever exhaust he had on it was not what i would have wanted it to sound like.Fstest H-Town Realtr said:It was a fake. I have heard the RAM SRT-10, both stock and with different exhausts. The Viper V-10 growls like nothing else. At idle, it does sound ike a UPS truck, though.
Yes looking at that picture, the ones this guy had slanted out towards the passenger side from the exit section. It sounded like two Civics racing when he got on it.SDTitan1 said:yup. the dude screwed it up ... this one belongs to owner where I work and has magnaflow, gibson headers, etc, etc (and a paxton) and sounds nothing ricer-like .... poor V10
