you guys said these things were awesome. and boy were yall right. it sounds so freakin awesome when i hit the gas. i can feel a little bit of estra umph when i punch it too. me and my dad put it in this mornin, took about 45 minutes. question though, when removing the oem lower air box, did anybody else have 3 screws attaching it? the directions only said there were 2, and we had to end up takin out the winshield washer fluid holder thing to get to it, cause it was way down in there. but we finally got it.

and i absolutely love it!!!!!!!!!!

The bolt at the bottom is just a pop in bolt deal, on the bottom of the box there is a grommet style rubber piece that pops in place. All you needed to do is tug on the bottom box.

Don't show that picture to toothless wonder. He said his S&B had a 3" gap to the fender opening. Your pic looks like mine, how is that possible?

So, you have a dirty engine bay, but did leave out some cookies and milk for the Big Man in Red. I'd say he treated you real well! Congrats on the S&B. :)

I put my S&B in and a billet grill on yesterday too. I am tackling the leveling kit today. I can't believe the difference that the S&B made.

I was just cruising along around 2K to let it get warmed up and dumped it to the floor next to a Hemi Ram and judging by the look on the guys face, I think we both about sh*t ourselves.

I have had mine sitting in my back room for a while now. You guys have motivated me, I have to get this on. I have been busy and wasn't really in a big rush because I didn't think it would be a big change. Sounds like I got that one wrong. One question, when and if you can stay out of the throttle do you think you get MPG increases. It's not why I bought the intake but I have read the claims and was wondering if they were true. Congrats on the mod and thanks for motivating me.

according to my scangauge, i have been getting about 2mpgs better since i put on that intake. but of course, thats only over the past couple days. so i cant really judge it on that. im about to be needin to fill up, so im gonna average it out on my next tank, and see if im still gettin better gas mileage.

I know that it has to have a lot more power and a lot less restriction. The engine throttles up so much faster than it did before. I have scared innocent bystanders just by putting it in neutral and revving it while going down the road.
