Scangauge with Blendmount

Can anyone who has installed their Scangauge with the Blendmount option tell me if you need to buy a cable extension. Also how long is the wire supplied with the unit? They claim it's 6 feet long, but the picture of it coiled up looks longer than that.

Clint,

I have the Scanguage II with the Blendmount and I had more than enough cable to make it to the OBDII port. In fact, I have a couple feet coiled on a bracket near my emergency brake. The set-up works great! Here's a couple pics of it installed.

opposite for me iirc, i bought the two together and had to use the extension. it ended at the kickpanel.
The blendmount kit should come with a coupler and about another 6' in cable.
One website I looked at had an extension cable for an additional cost. In my opinion it should fit without needing to spend any more money. Anyone else able to chime in? I appreciate the feedback so far, keep it coming.

Clint, if you purchase the BlendMount, you will get everything necessary to use it for the Titan, including a coupler and extra cable.

What you saw for an additional cost is an extra cable which is used if you have two vehicles you want to use the same Scangauge on. You purchase the second cable, and you can hook that cable up to another vehicle, and then swap them out in between cars by just unhooking the cord from the back of the Scangauge, instead of having to take all the wires out to swap it to another vehicle.
Thanks for clearing this up for me. Since my Pathfinder has something similar built in I'll just buy this as is for my Titan.
