I've had my '06 SE for 3 weeks today. Got out of my truck this morning at work and saw THIS....

Geez, I can't post a pic here until I've posted 15 times... so use your imagination to see the pic here...

I have NO idea how it got there... grrrrr.

Would you use Scratch-X to try and get it out? Will that affect the clearcoat around the scratch if I try that?

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Run your finger nail over the scratch, if it catches on your nail then 90% of the time the scratch wont buff out. That scratch remover stuff is junk anyway. You should use a 3M buffing compound product and try to hand rub it out. If that doesn't work a buffer my get it out.

Good advise here as I used to own a detail center...If it's too deep you can try building it up with a few layers of touch-up and then buff it back down. Have someone who buffs everyday look at it..They'll give you an instant answer...Good luck
