I live is SO AZ and have some minor desert pinstriping....it really wasn't that bad, but on smoke looked like hell. I picked up some Mother's scratch remover and some Scratch Out by Kit. I used Mother's the 1st time around...not a lot of help. I have used the Kit product after the last 2 washes...scratches are not as noticeable....actually hard to find:thumbsup:

I have also used Scratch-Out and it does work quite well. I've found all of those scratch removers work. They're best for taking off that morons paint who rubbed you in the parking lot!

I just got some new stripes from the desert a couple weekends back. i might have to try this. Thanks for the heads up -

So using the Scratch Out product from Kit worked? Was it the liquid or the paste stuff?

Scratch Out is a paste...comes in a 8 oz. yellow plastic tub...got it a Pep Boys...$ 7.00 - $ 9.00 if I remember correctly. I just realized I got some positive feedback from Hudson Valley Titan...man I've read a lot of your comments...you don't pull any punches
