According to Edmunds the side air bag package (code S01) comes with front side air bags (in seats) and front and rear curtain airbags (in head liner) with a rollover sensor. This package requires the Big Tow Package (T01). Having said that it wouldn't surprise me if they just used the same A-Pillar trim pieces in all of them. For example, my truck is a 2wd, but when I looked under it the front hubs have splines in them for 4wd use. Weird but perhaps a cost saver when it comes to assembly.
Crap, i was hoping it was an oversight on the sticker and i ended up with side airbags.

Oh well, we sit so high off the ground anyways most cars will go right under us :teethmast

I don't know if anyone mentioned but I read from some mags, the back seat of the LE is not leather, but matching vinyl and it's hard to tell the difference. It didn't stop me from considering the LE for its leather but I need the bench seat.

Thought the LE owners may want to know.

Does anyone know for sure that the Titan rear seats are not "leather appointed'?

TB

"Two interior configurations are available: a standard bench seat with column shifter that seats six passengers or an optional Captain’s Chair Package that features two front bucket seats with a gated floor shifter and a large center console. The leather upholstery in the LE models is sporty, attractive and quite pleasing; the rear seats in the LE are covered in matching vinyl that most people will assume is leather."

I don't believe they are. The dealer tried telling me they were, but the material felt different than the front seats. It didn't look different however.

All seat facing (where your body hits) is leather, the seat backs are vinyl. not the back seats.

wow

well i ordered my TITAN SE CC 4x2 on feb. 3rd from my local dealer, and now i'm having some withdraws. i sat in an LE CC the other day and thought it was very nice. the leather is nice and supportive and looks sharp. one thing i like about the leather is that it is all one tone of color. the graphite/titanuim interior is all a gray color, not that 2 tone bluish hue that is found in the SE. do i just take the LE on the lot ($2500 more) that is to my exact specifications or keep on waiting for my SE w/ the cloth? :crying:

TITAN21.... I would advise you to buy the one you really want, you dont want to be making payments on a truck your not satisfied with!!! Get what you really want! You will be much happier in the long run! :)

When you total up all the extras included in the LE, it's quite a step up from the SE and the additional cost is an incredible bargain...I'd have croaked had the dealer not had an LE in Red Brawn today!!! :crying:

I stepped up to the LE also. It has some cool features I wanted (auto lights, power pedals, leather, heated seats, dual power seats, etc...) . I figured it was about only $1200 more than what I wanted w/the SE. My truck should be here in April. Plus, once I saw the leather (one color) vs the two-tone SE fabric, I was sold on the LE. IMHO, the fabric looks like neoprene and I didn't want that.

I originally started this topic because i was in the same boat as you. I still had time to change my order and I did. Go with the LE, especially if you plan on keeping the truck for 7-10 years like I do. You don't want any regrets about your purchase.
