I bought the LE simply because I wanted everything they had available. My wife actually said if I am going to get a truck that she wanted it to have everything I wanted so I don't have to go out and buy another one in a few years.

I wanted the Crew Cab, the captains chairs and the Nav System. She was adament that it be appointed in leather and she really liked the heated seats. After driving each and every model the dealer had, we decided that the LE was the best way to get everything we wanted.

If I didn't need the bench, I'd have gone for the LE. Actually I couldn't wait for the LE, the SE was there.

If you're gonna keep your truck for 8 to 10 years, $2500 is insignificant and look at how little you pay extra for every time you drive your truck. I am replacing my cloth seats with leather. It stick to my pants like velcro. I'll be the first one with the bench leather seats.. :jester:

Cheaper way than covering the seats might be leather pants....hehheheheeh :jester:

The LE does offer some really neat stuff for the price difference. But we bought based on what our 'mins' were in a new truck to keep the price down as much as possible because we want to get a Travel Trailer to go play with.

I cast my vote for the LE, but I bet you all could have guessed that. I like all of the extras on the LE. But that's just my opinion.

I went SE, and love it. I had an LE Pathfinder with all the bells and whistles, but never really used them. Only one i liked was the auto on/off headlights (although this would piss people off when going under bridges and stuff, they always thought i was flashing them).

I loved the heated seats since the leather was cold as ice in the winter, but with the SE cloth i don't need heaters. So for me the SE was the better choice and saved me over $1200.

I ordered the SE partly because of the comment earlier about the armrests with the Captain's chairs.

I like the big armrest the bench offers - and I'm not THAT sold on leather seating. (buttsweat is not a pleasant thing)

What else... Running boards? I may decide to add nerf bars or something other than the LE's selection...

Call me Anal, but i still say i dont care what the hell truck you buy order, order, order!! I dont care if they say its not a option. Trust me they will make it a option. I got the oddest truck ever! The dealer even looked at me like a cow at the moon! I got a No carpet reg cab hemi, and sliding rear window, and cruise control. chrome grills. LOL there's much more, but trust me, there's no option for anything i wanted. I did want the power locks, and windows, but that add's 5k too the price, and i wouldn't come off it. My Hemi is totally off the option list. I got a 4x4 hemi with tow package, heavy duty front axle, and everything i wanted for 23k. Yep, its cheap, and you can do the same with the titan. Order it, and stand your ground. If you want power prepare too pay big! eliminate the power windows/locks, and its 5k less, plus more if you eliminate the standard computer junk most will never use.
