Security system.... truck won't start

My dogs chewed up a wiring harness pin the passenger side in the front fender area of my truck. I believe there are 14 wires there. I soldered 10 back together jyst by matching the colors. The problem is there are 4 wires that are black with silver dots. If you connect them together all separately (4 different connections) the horn won't honk at all and the truck turns over but won't run. Anyone give me any insight? I'm getting frustrated.
