So, early summer I bought my first Titan almost by accident. Got a killer deal and absolutely love the truck. Last month my SERVICE ENGINE SOON light came on. Had the codes read and they said it was a catalytic convertor issue. Two days later the light went off....later it came back on....then off for a day.....then on for a week. I've been putting off replacing the cats because I'm debating on going to headers. Anyway, I've figured out that the light stays on until around the time the low fuel light comes on. The SEO light stays off until I fill up with gas then within a couple of miles it's right back on. I'm at a loss here. I don't want to drop $1200 on replacing the cats or the exhaust if it's something simple. Anyone ever run into this before?

Hey Pat, sorry I can help but I am interested in hearing if others have comments. My service engine soon light is on and the fuel gauge won't go below quarter tank. Dealership says it's the catalytic converter and it cost $1,600. Passenger side front. Also they say a sensor on the pump at the tank is bad. Maybe they're related.

First thing I would do is replace gas cap. I had a SES light one day because of a loose gas cap.
