Service engine soon light appeared for about a day then disappeared.I just turned 90000 miles. Does anybody know what sensor, or maybe mileage triggers the light to appear?

Hard to say without pulling the codes, but the two that popped into my head were a lazy O2 sensor or a loose gas cap. Don't suppose it came on just after gassing up?
Could be a lot of things....when it is on again you can take it somewhere that has the means of diciphering the code for you...

The cats could be stopping up or a sensor or even the gas cap could be bad....Endless possibilites....

Good luck finding the code and good to see another titan with a lot of miles on it.....
take it to auto zone pepboys most car care places will read codes for free if not you can buy a scanner for $50 well worth the cost in the long run
That's normally something in the smog system that can't prove that it is working (not that it necessarily has failed, but that it might have). It can be as simple as the gas cap not being on tight. If it goes away, I don't worry about them. If it stays, I would find a code reader to see what's complaining, and then decide whether I wanted to bother with it (In California, you can't pass a smog test if the light is on).

Titans have no mileage trigger for the SES light.
