I have a 2008 Titan SE and have been in it for 3 months. In the middle of a 300 mile trip the shift lever slide (it is what is all around the lever where it goes into the center concole) started sticking and then jamming. By the time I got to where I was going it was crunching and almost would not allow me to move from one gear slot to the next. Has anyone else seen/had this problem and is it happening often. I will be going to my dealer as soon as I can get home, just thought somone may have a heads-up on this problem before I go. Thanks, captkev65

First I've heard of it. Had to think for a second, because I have column shift, and then realized you have the console shift, with the little overlapping type plastic slider thing. Yeah, I can see where that could malfunction and keep you from shifting.

Good luck getting it fixed.

You might have something stuck in there between the black inner shield and outer shell causing the crunch.
