getting ready to put in the prg shackles. what shocks should i use? 06 2wd-no offroad......thanks

rear shocks? Bilsteins or Donahoes .... fantastic replacements, whether you off road or not

Just FYI, the shackles are made by Total Chaos, sold by PRG.

I have the Bilsteins and love them. Although I hear, for stock to small lifted trucks the Donahoes are better. Donahoe does not make a shock long enough for lifted applications though.

There are stock replacement shocks for $89 ea. from PRG. He sends you the new Bilstein shock with a stock coil spring installed. You send back your stock unit. This prevents you from having to dis-assemble, then re-assemble your stock coilover which is known to be a hassle.

Definitely the ones in my last post. The yellow/blue bilstein's with stock spring. Then get the Bilstein 5125's for the back.

Thats the setup I have, but with a lowering kit as well and they perform GREAT!
