Hi everyone. I recently bought a 2018 Titan 5.6. It had the short block replaced in July of 2020. I'm assuming this was because of the well-known knock issue. The truck now has 37,000 miles on it. Does anyone know if the newer engine is likely to have the same issue again? Did Nissan fix the issues so that it doesn't happen again? Thanks

I had mine done at 15000 miles I was talking to my mechanic the other day and he ask way my truck was ticking. So I stopped in at the dealer service manager wasn't there but the parts guy said sounds like we may be replacing your engine again. Now this is just preliminary so I really don't know where we go from here. 2018 with 28000 miles on it and 3 months warranty left.

Mine was done at 26000 km it now has 45000 km. It is knocking again I brought it into the dealer. They scoped it and said same issue as before they said without talking to Nissan. I will be getting another new engine 2018 It Was done In 2020. Twenty thousand kilometers and it's done again.
