Those are all easily taken care of. Go visit your dealer and have them warranty it.
51,000 miles here and all is still perfect.

They have taken care of them, so far.. struts are next. I am still waiting to hear from the dealer.
I am just getting depressed having to bring this thing in all the time for this crap. Its more of a pain in the neck then anything.. and I just don't want to have too keep doing it for other issues.

Well, what choice do you have? Do you or anyone else seriously think that NO OTHER brands have minor issues? If you like your truck, get it fixed and enjoy it. It's just that simple. Yes, it's a PITA, I know. Hell, I just had a brand new Volvo in the shop cuz it wouldn't start. No manufacturer is exempt from problems. As long as the dealer satisfies you should be the biggest concern. Try not to dwell so much on the negative aspect of it. Just right-foot it on the way home from a repair at the dealer, and let the smile on your face be the pacifier.

Whether minor or major, if the dealer is fixing them under warranty, it can't be all bad. :dunno: That's my point. A bit of discomfort and maybe a little inconvenience for one badass truck... easy choice, IMO...

You still haven't said what the actual problems are...

One bad strut, ok...both bad? Are you taking it too fast down dirt roads?

Brakes...what's wrong with them? Judder or are they worn and need to be replaced?

Seat...what's wrong with the seat? Which seat?

Not trying to lay blame, but it helps to know details when someone is complaining about problems.

It seems like a crap shoot whether a titan is going to have lots of problems or none at all. Some people get all the problems: brake judder, rear seals, blown diff, cracked radiator, leaky rear window, etc... Some people have 80,000+ miles and no problems at all.

Gee, seems like a difficult choice.

Get warranty items fixed for free.

or

Pay a lot more money for a new truck, (and still no guarantee that it will be problem free).

If it gives you peace of mind, jump ship, by all means.

Say, what do you need our advice for anyway?

You gotta do what you gotta do.

Good Luck.

maybe it's the shift that built it? Maybe second shift is a bunch of moroon's or something? Hmmm, I wonder if their is a 3rd shift.

Hey Midnightman, could you elaborate a bit on the issues?
1) What are the symptoms of what is wrong with the brakes? Squeaky? Judder? Just don;t work right?
2) What are symptoms that make you say the struts are bad? Leaking oil or what"
3) What's wrong with teh seat? Torn? Did you tear it when your pocket knife cut it?

The reason I'm asking is NOT to say your problems are not issues, but to understand what you are experiencing. My Titan is a 2007 that I bought in July. So far it has been wonderful but I had an issue, too. Kept getting a "door ajar" light. Thought it was the switch, but it turned out to be a mis-adjusted lower door striker ... a SIMPLE fix, but it caused major issues. The bed light stayed on for a LONG time as did the tailgate light. The security system would not work completely. The fix rectified everything.

I also recently had the tire presure warning come on for 2 days. The temperature had JUST gotten colder. When it warmed up, the indicator went out and hasn't come back on.

Please describe YOUR issues so we might know what to say to you. Otherwise, we're all guessing.

I would, Im getting so sick of my check engine light. Yes it's been in.
Dealer gives me the A-ok and turns it off. Back on 30 min later. It's always
something with the "Great" titan.
So, what's the code that keeps popping up and the dealer keeps clearing? Why does the dealer think the recurring code is OK?

Please elaborate.
