I just want to take a moment to share with you folks on TitanTalk. I don’t belong to any real social media. Just this site and AccurateShooter.com. Roush and I have chatted a couple of times on the phone. Seems as if he’s had some terrible luck this past week or so. During one of our conversations, I mentioned that I was missing a small black dome cover that is the cap for the Sun sensor which is located in the middle of the dash just under the windshield. When my windshield was replaced, the company blew it off with compressed air. He completely understood just how bothersome this is for a anal-retentive, obsessive compulsive s.o.b. Like myself. I’ve looked everywhere for a replacement and the dealer wants a kidney for it…
Days later …. I get a text.
Roush is at the auto recycling center and sends me pictures of not one but 2 stupid little black plastic caps and asks for my address.
It’s not everyday you find hope in humanity these days. I’m amazed with the quality of character and the kindness that a complete stranger can bestow upon someone across the other side of a country, unmet.
I just wanted to publicly thank you, sir, for your kindness. You went waaay out of your way for me and I do truly appreciate it. This world would be a much better place if we all acted like this. Thank you, again.
