Those aren't the same ones they're talking about. The ones that pop in do use a little piece of tape, but it's just so they stay in the channels. At least the last ones I got for my tundra were that way.amati5 said:This product is pretty cheap, $59 for the whole set of 4. But they say they use 3m tape ?

Just received my Weatherflectors, simple instructions. After the installation the visor on the drivers side has one corner above the side mirror that does not want to stay in the channel, The bottom edge of the visor (the edge next to the mirror) is starting to scar the weatherstripping. Called MacNeil, they are sending a rubber cushion to go on the edge. I went driving down the interstate to test them out, and discovered the driver side visor started wasn't completely seated caused wind noise to come around the weatherstripping. I told MacNeil about the wind noise and they said to reinstall the visors.amati5 said:When you guys said Weatherflectors you meant the ones from Mcneil (mats.com) right? are these the ones what are backordered?
thx
