Don't know how it happened but I noticed it a week or so ago. Any suggestions on what I should do?

Cut the flap and cover it w/ rubber cement? Just leave it?

It really isn't deep enough to worry about at all. I would just pull off the loose piece and not stare at it too long. Rubber cement might stand out more than the missing rubber. I guess you could try Black RTV to hold it down, but ehhh...

Just cut it off and forget about it. I drove around with a belt showing for 10 k miles without a problem.

Cool, thanks fellas.
The rubber cement isnt a bad idea as far as the look goes, but those mud grappers are probably at least a load range D if not E, so you'd need to take out a lot more then that to be worried!

Might consider mounting that tire in the back and not front. If you have a blow out in front...prob an unpleasant experience...
