Hello everyone! I am new to this forum. Just bought myself a 2004 Titan LE two days ago. I really like the way this truck performs. On second day, I was driving on the freeway and the brake light came on. Then when I stepped on the brakes, it was soft or mushy. I freaked out. Luckily I made it off the freeway and reached my destination. I turned off the engine to watch my son play baseball for two hours and when I got back in to start it up, the brake warning light was off. I drove home with no problems. Then I drove it today and no issues. I got worried so I googled it online and seems other owners have had similar problems. I would like to get this problem fixed. Does anyone have any suggestions???

if you're mechanically inclined i would do a brake inspection as it being a 04 i'm assuming there's no warranty on your truck?

Mushy brakes and complete brake failure are two different things. The former could simply be worn brakes and/or air in the brake fluid. The latter is a known problem with the brake booster "delta sensor". You will get a number of dash lights on and the ABS motor will kick in.
