I think they look great!!...BUT I'm a little biased...:eyebrow:

I'm going to do the HID conversion on mine. The good news is these lights were designed for HID bulbs, so when you do a conversion they respond really good.

I have the same set-up, one Pencil and 2 driving beams. The extra side lighting is nice, I've run all Pencil beams in the past and had 2 white holes in the desert but very little side lighting. I run 2 relays, triggered by the factory fog light switch.

do u want the halogens and going to convert them to HID yourself?

Here is a pic of them all fired up pretty stupid how bright all 9 lights are together i had to use a 2000 shutter speed to capture them otherwise it was just a white out..

that's downright funny! especially during the day. same as you, halogen then convert to HIDs down the road. btw, is that HID kit you're going to convert it to a Baja Designs HID kit? or some other aftermarket HID kit? is there enough room for a deck of cards sized ballast to fit in there? or are you gonna put in a newer slim-design ballast in there?

its just going to be a aftermarket HID kit off e bay i found a couple slim ballast that will work inside... i will prob do a 5000K instead of 6000k because 5000K is the brightest color of the spectrum. I will also be taking one off for desert seasons to mount on my DRZ-440

Yeggsfab Truck looks down right mean. Where did you get the light bar? I have an XE and have been looking for a bar just like that one. Was it a custom job? Also please explain the diferences with pencil lights and driving lights. Thanks

Pencil beams throw a round beam long range, and just a bright circle. Driving beams throw wider, flatter beam to give you light further to the left and right of you. Much better for cornering.
Put the 2 different lights togather to make a lighting system.
Love these lights down a lonely desert road at night...:hat:

Thank you LOUFISH for the info on the lights. YEGGFABS I'll have my dad check it out and whip me up something (he's the welder). Also I like your wheel stance. What is you wheel width and backspacing. Thanks for your time.
