But why did you buy a truck, if a car will apparently serve you better? The Jetta doesn't tow....

B. VW are the biggest piece of #@$*ing ishhhh out there!

i would rather buy a kia or a hemi :) lol

good luck with it i guess......

Why not a honda civic or accord? For the price you paid for the VW crap, you could have gotten a fairly new one. Those things last FOREVER, just change the oil and tires..

Sold an bought 04 vw jetta.lol 14 mpg to 35 mpg is the reason. 350 amonth
In titan 120 in jetta.
Does the $350/$120 a month comparison include the money you lost trading the Titan in? If not, then you have to factor that in to the "total" savings you think you're getting in gas compared to the Titan.

if he privatly sold the t and bought the jetta he probably made a pretty penny or 2. an 04 jetta is only worth 3500 at best. The biggest problem i see with the phylosophy is the unforseen mechanic bills that come up every month when you own a VW. id rather put it in my gas tank. When i wanna get better gas i just drive my subaru. 25 mpgs.

Its all worth it till you get in a wreck and it takes 4 guys at the scrap yard 3 beers each to figure out what kinda car it used to be.

You are crazy, VW/Audi is a super reliable car if you know how to maintain it. Only reason a European car breaks is because of the owner, I have owned BMW's and VW's and never had any "problems" just a few routine service issues. I got a friend with a TDI Beetle and it has almost 400k on it.
