Roy, She started the car, then she went into the house, while the car was warming up, then someone got in the car and drove off.

I always worry about this in the AM, when I need the car to warm up before departing. Guess there is much to be said for the remote starter.

I hope the po po finds it fast, before the bastards can damage it!

That really sucks.. We start up our cars all the time to warm them up and defrost them in the wintertime... Usually I stay outside to shovel or clean them off, but not always necessary.

Hope the authorities can get it back for you and all in one piece!

i do this quite a bit, especially with the little one in winter, warm up the truck a bit before setting him in the seat.

i generally will leave my garage door up as well while going back inside.

good luck to you and the wife on getting this sorted out... are you in a crime area or is this a rare occurance in your 'hood?

Guess the neighborhood would determine if i did that. I wouldnt feel comfortable doing this in the city.

Man that sucks big time. Hopefully they find it ok. And given that this was from your neighborhood I would double check your home door locks and garage opener just in case. Did your wife have house keys attached to the car keys?

Well Ive been hanging out with the cops. I guess the tard robbed a gas station and he disappeared into the woods with it. I'm going back out...I hope I catch him first.

Be careful. Vehicles can be replaced you can't.
