You might (probably not) find it in the factory service manuals.

Index of /FSM/Titan/2008_Titan

I do not find them very helpful---especially with electrical issues. I looked at several chapters and found nothing regarding the wires in hte steering column.

The chapter names are encrypted for some reason.

I translated the chapter names for the 2015 Titan (which I have). Yours may be similar:

If you look here:
iPod Integration for your car and More by Pac-Audio - Connecting you to the future
You might get some info that will help.

I have the PAC SWI-RC ... to adapt the wheel controls to my JVC... it went in with no issue and works great.

The instructions linked to after entering your vehicle info into that page will tell you where the connectors are, what they look like, and how the PAC steering wheel adapter connects.
I'm sure if you use that info, you can reverse engineer it to match the inputs on the Joycon.
(In my case, you use only a single wire (the white wire) from the PAC interface to connect to the OE Titan radio control plug... it is wired directly to one pin, and jumped to another through a 150ohm resistor)

Here is the info in a nutshell...

There is a plug at the back of the radio that you will connect your control to, and one at the bluetooth controller under the passenger seat that will need to have a couple wires jumped to complete the circuit.

Reads like if you have a 24 pin control connector at the radio, it's pins 12,13,14 that relate to the wheel controls (PAC has you ground 14, connect 12 directly to the input wire of the controller, and connect 13 to that same wire through a 150ohm resistor)

If you have a 16 pin control connector at the radio, it's pins 9,10,12 that relate to the wheel controls (PAC has you ground 12, connect 9 directly to the input wire of the controller, and connect 10 to that same wire through a 150ohm resistor)

At the BT connector(B55, under the pass seat), they jump pin 12 to 17, 13 to 18, 14 to 19

Hope that helps...

I don't recognize the part you have there (keep in mind, as far as titans go, I've only seen my stereo)... can you take the picture from further away (get a pic from like the right side of the steering wheel to the left side of the glove-box, and from top of dash to console (or dash bottom if no console)?

What stereo does the truck have in it? That looks like something from the glove box... :) Is that not a factory radio? did you disassemble the factory unit(that looks like a face to one...)

The plug you would be looking for is on the back of the stereo unit itself. It is either 16 pin(2 rows of 8) or 24 pin(two rows of 12)

On mine (6 disc changer, not RF) there were 3 plugs... 2 of those plugs fit into the wiring adapter I bought to install an aftermarket stereo... the one that was left unconnected, had the wheel controls in it.

I'm gonna go look in the FSM...

Sorry... I have the RF system with navigation and 6 disk changer. I removed the front face of it and put it in the glove compartment so I still have all functionality. I then put a 7" Nexus tablet where it was.

The plug you would need would have originally been plugged into the back of the RF head unit.

looks like yours uses the 24 pin... it should look like the one in this page:
iPod Integration for your car and More by Pac-Audio - Connecting you to the future

the wire colors are listed in the description... I dunno about your adapter and if it is "one wire" or not... but if it is, follow the directions under "If your INTERFACE does not have a White/Red wire:" to figure out how to connect that one wire...

Finally got around to checking.. my deck has no 24 pin plug. Closest is a 20 pin..
