So this morning I was driving to work, drove about 20 miles. I started to notice a winding sound coming from the front of the truck, sounded like engine issues. All the sudden the transmission felt like it just didn't want to work anymore, i'd hit the gas and it would just wine out and i'd be going about 2 miles an hour...maybe. I had Triple A come get me and bring me to the Nissan dealership. When I got there, the service tech got in the truck, started it and drove it away like nothing was wrong...I left it there anyways to see if they could diagnose the problem. I got a call couple hours later saying its was still fine, nothing showed up. Has anyone had this problem before. I'm scared to take it home now.

Did they check the fluid level?

That is pretty weird..only thing I could think of, is possible electrical problem. Do you go offroading a lot? I was putting my front drive shaft in last night, and noticed there were a lot of wires and plugs in the tranny/transfercase area. Could have been a loose connection of some sort?

Hate to bring their capabilities into question, but I have seen some dealer techs who would have trouble diagnosing a flat tire.
Plugging in the OBDII scanner might not reveal a low fluid condition, which probably wouldn't set a code.
Do you know if they checked it?
