doing spark plugs tonight and pulled the coil and the top half came off no big deal needs a coil. pulled the rest of the boot out covered in oil. so what now?

Was the spark plug not seated well? Maybe leaking valve cover gaskets. There are a few threads here from guys that have replaced theirs. Though they usually replaced theirs due to sludge build up.

the coil i will assume not. since it came apart as soon as i took the 10mm out. truck has 175k on it. seems to be original plugs..... over 60 thou on the gap
