Howdy, I need a little help regarding spark plugs for my 2009 Titan LE Crew Cab 4WD (Non Flex-Fuel). From my research on here I have found that most go with the NGK DILFR5A-11 LI Plugs. My local part store has these plugs listed at $32/Plug ($270 W/ GST). Every other Canadian online store including Amazon is $30-$40/Plug for the NGK. My part place telling me that they no longer stock the NGK plugs but do carry the equivalent plugs by Bosch as well as AutoLite. My friend who works there confirmed this and advised with his discount he could get me 8 of the Bosch plugs for $90 or 8 of the AutoLite's for $45. Does anyone have any experience with Bosch or AutoLite? I don't mind paying for quality but $270 for plugs for a truck in insanity. I have 110K Miles on the truck now.

I also called the dealer and they want $35/Plug for 22401-ZE01B...

Thanks!

I haven't used Bosch plugs, but have used their O2 sensors and haven't had any issues with them. $270 for plugs is ridiculous. Those are expensive plugs though. I used the NGK LFR5AIX-11 Iridium IX, haven't had any issues.

Thanks for the replies! I have now further confused myself lol. I checked into these NGK LFR5AIX-11 plugs and my local part store has them for $11/Plug which I can handle. However they do not list for my truck and on NGK's website the only Titan application is 2004-2006 under this plug. I looked at reviews on the AutoLite's and it seems most car guys are happy and most truck guys are unhappy.

So I just checked out both the NGK LFR5AIX011 and NGK DILFR5A11 plugs on NGK's website and attached a screen shot of both the plugs. All the specs are completely the same with the exception of the material and type. The LFR5AIX011 Material is Nickel and Type is Standard where the LFR5AIX011 Material is Platinum and Type is Fine Wire. And the longevity of the Platinum's being double at 100K over 50K. With that being said I want to ensure there is not quality or performance drawbacks of the Nickel plug over the Platinum as at a 3rd of the price I could replace them 3 times (150K) for the price of one change of the Platinum's.

I just looked at my manual and it list's DILFR5A-11 as the plugs for non Flex-Fuel.

I haven't had any problems or noticed a difference. I didn't do my 50k maintenance (dealer did), but I plan on changing them every 50k.
