MB Quart makes great speakers for the money. I recommend 6.5" components up front and either 6.5" comps or coaxials in the rear.
I've been thinking about some quarts myself. This installer is trying to sale a set of Q's from his ride for about $300. I set in it yesterday and it sounded pretty good. This is until, I heard a set of Diamond audio comps at the same dealer. It was the Hex series and these sounded better to me. I went back and forward from his car to the sound board about five times and I the Diamond's won me over.
You cannot compare speakers in a car to speakers in a sound room if that is what you were doing. And yes. Diamond makes a nice product.
I just got the Boston S60 components installed in the front, really like them so far, not harsh and bright like the Infinities I had.
Boston makes a great product across the board. Infinity speakers and subs blow. They cannot compete with other companies in their price range.

Good info Landshark.
I hae boston PRO 60's and I like them a lot.
I swapped out the dash tweeters with a set of Memphis tweeters and I plan on swapping out all the door speakers with Memphis MClass. I had the PR series Memphis in my Ram and will never own anything other than Memphis speakers
Memphis makes a solid product. Good speakers for the money.
I heard a lot of different setups in the Titan at OT.

The Bostons sounded great and I was surprised. The MBQ's have always been a little bright for my personal preference but overall the ones I heard were good.

My personal preference is CDT. I really like all the options that are available to make a custom setup.
i went with kicker ks 6.5 in the rear and 6x9 in the front. i changed my tweeters to infinity :) i have a thread on here so that u can change out the speakers yourself :)
I've owned and installed MBQs I like the DLS's I have now... depends what type of sound you like, the main difference is going to be the tonal characteristics the different speakers have, they all have a slightly different sound...

INSTALL makes or breaks it... deadener makes a good difference.. whether it's home depot peel and seal roofing stuff... or dynamatt extreme or what have you.... anything is better than nothing if applied right imo... I've used alot of different things, and even peel and seal... second skin damplifier pro, eD edead, dynamatt extreme... if you just want to seal up the doors and do a good job me personally I'd say whatever you can get a deal on would be good.... I have this book called the secrets for great car sound, you should look into something like that if you're going to do it yourself :D and read online and in magazines if you have time and are willing to learn. the more you know the better more informed decisions you can make ;)
Yep, there are a lot of speakers to chose from. Quarts work well off axis so they are a good candidate for the Titan. The tweets are a bit bright but easy to cut. All in all they are worth their weight...

You can cut the dB's on the tweet. Order from tech12volt. He is an authorized dealer and will give you the best price.
I am running PolkMOMO 6.5 components front and rear. They are nice, but a little bright when we first did the install. Once I adjusted everything with the signal processor, they turned our real nice.
