I have seen mention of getting different springs to achieve front lift, anyone care to enlighten me on this?

If you are a pre 08 2wd Titan, newer 4wd springs have a different spring rate and don't droop as much as the older model ones do, doing the swap will usually pick up a few inches in height

Yes that will work out to 2 inches of lift with out sacrificing ride quality

Thats odd, that is first time I have ever seen a 1" lift spacer, except for coil overs. A 1" ift block can't be more than .5" thick, typically that would be too short to allow enough space for the bolts to sit below the spacer top.
