Hey guys.....ran across these while surfing for mods. Anyone have these or have heard reviews on them? They fit well?, plug and play?, can I add HID to them? And lastly...I presume the headlamp housing design hasn't changed between 2010 and 2011 Titans correct? Cause they only list up to 2010.....thanks in advance for any help:)

I have some spyder halos in black. To be honest its a good price, but it seems to be a little lower in quality, installation was a b##ch mainly just the wiring (depends if you want your halos on with your parking lights or low beams) But it fits good, just like the stock lights, mine are not bright during the day, there not ccfl. I would say definatley do ccfl. And about the HID's im not too sure, I have heard that you cant, but i would look into it m
But overall I havnt had any problems with them, and they look pretty cool! Hope this helps.

Yeah I should have searched first lol....I understand they aren't gonna be OEM quality but with limited options and being so cheap, I kinda expect it. And it seems if I REALLY wanted the smoke w the CCFL halos, I'd have to buy a second set of lights in black or clear to get them and swap them over:/ Booooo!!!

And with regards to the HID's it seems the 35W kits won't cause any issues for the headlamps or the foglights housing/lenses.

Bill,

You have a few options before you buy two sets of lights.

Halos can be purchased online separately.
You can also buy the non smoke version with the halos you want and use the Eurolight headlight coloring to tint the lens.
Search for my thread "eurolight" I used it on my wife's FX and it looks great.
Its a light smoke tint that doesn't affect light output.

The halos arent very bright you can barely tell during the daytime but they are visible at night, Most my light output comes from my fogs the projectors arent as good as i thought they would be idk if its the lights or if i dont have them adjusted right. But overall i think they look great and installation was easy. Also in the second picture no lights are on its just to show how they look i dont have any other pictures of them on my phone

Did you use Lamix-X to smoke the headlights?

First ever Post on any forum. (No I don't live under a rock)

Been looking for a good high-quality smoke lens cover for both the front and rear of my Titan lamps. Anyone have a good experience with a set you bought? second to last step to an all black-out goal.

I have the chrome Spyder headlights on my T and only had slight adjusting issues at first but now everything is great. Even with regular bulbs it seemed brighter but with 35W 8000K H.I.D.s it looked good and very bright.
I have the regular version and would definitely get the CCFL version so your Halos can be seen in daylight. I would ge the clear if I were you and then either use the headlight tint or the spray on tint if the smoked color is really what you want.

Looks cool. May I know how much did you pay for Spyder headlights?

I've got a pair of the CCFL spyder lights, bought a package deal with HIDs off ebay for around $215 shipped.

This isn't meant to be a negative post because I've been happy with them up until 2 weeks ago, and I may be at fault here.

They've been installed for about 6 weeks now. I wired the Halos and LEDs to come on with parking lights. All connections were made using taps or heatshrinked butt splicers that could be crimped. Then I went back and heatwrapped all connections (taps and even the heatshrink splicers which I already activated the heatshrink). Then I wrapped all connections with electric tape. I was able to mount the HID and LED modules on the bottom of the headlight itself using extra strength exterior double sided tape, and all the wires were tucked into the nooks and crannies on the backside of the light. Essentially I wanted to make headlight removal just as easy as OEM, just one wire to unplug from the harness to remove the headlight. Worked out great.

I removed my Nismo intake 2 weeks ago and had to remove the wheel well liner to simplify the process. I left it out because I ran out of time and a few days after that we had a snow storm. Took the truck out for some fun and the next night when I turned on headlights in the garage I noticed drivers side was dark. Got out and checked and the headlight and one halo weren't working. There was a TON of moisutre inside the headlight, I could see visible water beads. I was pissed and then saw the wheel well liner sitting and there and started kicking myself in the ***. When I looked at the back of the headlight casing I could see it was pretty dirty. Not like caked up but you could see streaks of crap on it.

My headlight started working again the next day, the moisture went away after a few days of leaving it outside and 40* temps but one of the Halos still isn't working. I want to take it all apart and make sure connections are good but won't have the time for a bit and I trust my work.

I want to say it was coincidence that I had problems with the headlight while the wheel well liner was out but I'm leaning towards it being the wheel well liner since I haven't had probs on the passenger side. One thing I did notice on both headlights, was when they were installed there is a 1/4 inch gap on the side of where the light and fender meet. You can see a good part of the black headlight gasket. I did one light at a time so when I saw that I looked at the OEM that was still installed on other side and it was tight, no gap anywhere. I took pics of that and everything else from wiring to install because I wanted to do a how-to and review after I had them on a few weeks.

Other then this I like the headlights. They look good, the ccfl halos are bright as sh1t (minus the one not working) and the HIDs that came with them looked like a great quality kit compared to others I looked at (judging by the harness and connections and module itself).

Has anyone else ever had a moisture prob in their OEM or aftermarket headlights from leaving their wheel liner out?

I actually noticed that the other night leaving work that the one inner halo on my driver side was out, I banged on the head light and it flickered than came back on. I used the t-taps and connected the leds and halos to the parking lights as well so i dont know if thats a common issue with the headlights of maybe the connection isnt that tight with the t-taps. As of now there all working. Ill have to keep an eye on it

Probably your smoked lens's, my Halos are barely even visible during the day, at night they look pretty good though but they are not as bright as they look in the pictures but they are blueish colored definitely.

i bought what i thought were sweet chrome ccfl halo/projector headlamps off ebay brand new. first problem was installation was a b**ch, but i figured that's because im not very mechanically inclined. 2, i wired the halos to a switch so i could put them on and off whenever. the halos are pure garbage. there bright, but the balasts that came attached to them were crap and the inner halos never worked at all. so i have them only on the outside driving lights not the high beams. 3, the im having trouble with the leds, one is already burnt out. moral of the story, careful what you buy or don't buy them at all. if i knew how to tear a headlight apart, id paint the reflectors in the stock healights and just put those back in the new headlights were a bad choice that i wont make again

They look good, but the tinted/smoked ones peel after a few months, the LED rings arent really that bright and the projectors suck. I constantly get high beamed and cant get them adjusted right even with my brother in laws new machine at his shop. Upgrading to legit accessories retrofitted ones. You can buy mine with 5k hid low beam ballist and all and regular xtravison high beam when I switch if you want. Overall disapointed in these headlights.
