I actually noticed that the other night leaving work that the one inner halo on my driver side was out, I banged on the head light and it flickered than came back on. I used the t-taps and connected the leds and halos to the parking lights as well so i dont know if thats a common issue with the headlights of maybe the connection isnt that tight with the t-taps. As of now there all working. Ill have to keep an eye on it

Socals halos look alot brighter and more blue than mine also -__- i wonder if its cuz of the smoked lense

Probably your smoked lens's, my Halos are barely even visible during the day, at night they look pretty good though but they are not as bright as they look in the pictures but they are blueish colored definitely.

Get black ccfl, 35w his kit wow bulb that FITS THE HEADLIGHTS ( some aftermarket use different bulbs than our normal stock, and smoke with eurotint.

That way you have the smoke look, black housing, bright halos, and bright low beams. Best of 4 worlds!

It's an 06 smoke, I took a pic of just the halos the other night but it was raining so it's not that good of quality

Been looking for a good high-quality smoke lens cover for both the front and rear of my Titan lamps. Anyone have a good experience with a set you bought? second to last step to an all black-out goal.

i just ordered spyder black halo projector headlights with leds and led fog lamps, how well do these work outta the box and are they brighter then stock or do a need mod them to make them brighter then stock ? and is the low beam as bright or brighter then stock cause if there not brighter then stock i might just send them back and i got the one with ccfl halos but they are on back order and still haven't got them !! if there not great tell me now cause i know wasting my time with if they are suckey

i bought what i thought were sweet chrome ccfl halo/projector headlamps off ebay brand new. first problem was installation was a b**ch, but i figured that's because im not very mechanically inclined. 2, i wired the halos to a switch so i could put them on and off whenever. the halos are pure garbage. there bright, but the balasts that came attached to them were crap and the inner halos never worked at all. so i have them only on the outside driving lights not the high beams. 3, the im having trouble with the leds, one is already burnt out. moral of the story, careful what you buy or don't buy them at all. if i knew how to tear a headlight apart, id paint the reflectors in the stock healights and just put those back in the new headlights were a bad choice that i wont make again

They look good, but the tinted/smoked ones peel after a few months, the LED rings arent really that bright and the projectors suck. I constantly get high beamed and cant get them adjusted right even with my brother in laws new machine at his shop. Upgrading to legit accessories retrofitted ones. You can buy mine with 5k hid low beam ballist and all and regular xtravison high beam when I switch if you want. Overall disapointed in these headlights.

Thanks for sharing those. I have seen the same style on a 2010's Tacoma, and they were full of water already! But I like the look!
