So today I wanted to share my thoughts with you guys as I started lifting my truck today. Well boy am I freakin sore as all I got done was the passenger side lol! Now mind you I had previously installed the Radflo's, DK UCA's, Spacer and PRG End links. So today was installing the Maxtrac spindle, extended brake lines. Now everything was going smooth...no issues with swapping the extended brake lines until I got to removing the spindle from the lower ball joint. It was freaking frozen and would not budge! I sprayed wd40 and let it sit for awhile. I beat the crap out of it with the hammer litetally waking the whole damn neighbor hood and still no go. I ended up calling Michael from CJD Racing for sime advice and he said go to the auto parts store and rent a ball joint separator. So off to the parts store and I came back with the tool and it worked!

So I get the spindle and I had already removed the 3 bolts holding the hub from a thread I read somewhere as a pointer. So again I'm banging away and eventually used the ball joint separator to separate the hub with success. so I grab the Maxtrac spindle grease the inside as well as the hub and easy peasey! So I'm getting everything back on and I notice the sensor still hanging and I'm looking for that hole! Nothing! Where the ef is it? I for some reason thought well maybe the Maxtrac spindle doesn't have one? So I grab the OEM spindle and same thing no hole? And I remember the placement when I first took it off. My dumba$$ didn't line the hub up correctly lol! The hole was now at the bottom of the spindle so now I had to go back and remove the calipers, rotor and LCA bolt so I can get to the 3 hub bolts. I was able to tap with the hammer to basically spin the hub to the correct position.

Now I tried Google searching but with no luck I read that the tie rods do not have to be swapped on the Maxtrac spindle lift. However, I read some where that the tie rod does have to be installed from the top side and not from underneath when i first removed it and I hope someone can clarify this as there was no way to get the tie rod to go from underneath. so I'm slapping everything back together roll the tire up to the truck and realize the hub assembly is sitting super low. So I try jacking the truck up as high as I can go and nope...still to low. So off to Lowes as I had to buy a 4×4 and have them cut it because there was no way to get an 8 ft 4×4 wood in my Toyota Corolla lol! Get home stick the 4×4 on my Jack and I got it high enough to get my stock wheel back on. Noe my concern is my 35's are bigger so I'm thinking I'm gonna have to stick a 2×4 on top of the 4×4 to get my new wheels and tires on.

What a day! Hopefully what little mistakes I made on the passenger side I should be fine doing the driver's side as now I know what to expect. Looking forward to doing the rears as installing those Deaver C-30's looks to be a lot of fun! Anyone have any pointers or advice on anything I've done to make things easier? Thanks for listening! Oh...measurement is 44.25" but I'm guessing with the 35's should be around 46"? After everything's done I may crank them an inch but we'll see how the rear looks when it's done. Truck looks like it's 3 wheelin' since the front passenger is sitting high lol!

Haha yes! I had to stack 2 4×4's too but I didn't want everybody telling how unsafe it is lol! So here's a few pictures of the rears done! Trying to get the leaf springs to line up with the block was a PITA! I had to go and cut another piece of 4x4 to stack on top of the other 4×4 because the rear axle wasn't dropping low enough to squeeze the 4" block because my truck wasn't jacked up high enough. So I had to reclamp the u-bolts to the axle because my Jack was underneath the axle and it was my only one. So anywho I managed to get everything to line up and the u-bolts back on. Shocks were pretty easy even tho I had to swap out the bushings with the Energy Suspension bushing kit. I got almost everything done...all I have left is the Carrier Bracket. So I almost thought the wheels I ordered were wrong because the wheels are also drilled out for other vehicle fitments. So the lug nut holes in the wheels are very tight. I could barely get my socket in there and I think it's because of the powder coating or paint. I basically had to use my impact gun with the socket to remove the paint. So I had no idea how heavy those 35's were going to be trying to lift them up onto the lugs. I had to use a 2×4 to set underneath the tire as I raised and lowered the Jack until I can get the lugs to line up lol! So I only got the front wheels on but will get the rears tomorrow

Nice! Meh, I'm sure everyone that doesn't have a lift in their garage does something similar to lift these beasts up. Yes the 35s are heavy as heck. I always feel like I'm going to break my back hoisting them up on to the lugs lol

Haha you sound like me, I have 2 4x4 blocks stacked on top of my jack when I lift mine up. Sketchy yes, but works

I don't have a bracket lift but is there a spot on the front I can use to lift the front end like yours because the truck sits high now when I Jack the truck up by the Jack points by the door areas it really leans to the side where it's almost unsafe. The blocks look like they're going to pop out!

Yeah I don't even attempt to use any other jack points anymore lol

I jack up the truck from the stock front crossmember too. I did the same on my 06 with the pro comp lift too. I think i've used the frame spots 1 time in the 10 years i've owned titans.
