Stay away from North Texas Nissan

I am going to repeat my post from clubtitan until they do something to correct the corruption.

Don't buy here as I did. They snuck in an additional $1100 of fees that were bogus!! It took 8 freakin hours to buy the truck that wasn't even there and had to be delivered. Truck showed up missing all removable components (utilitrack cleats, floor mats, etc..), had 250 miles on it, 1 scratch, 1 ding, and 4 paint chips. Never again and would not recommend them. Obviously they don't care about the quality of new vehicles they sale or customer satisfaction.

I went up there the day to get the truck that I had already paid for to try to correct the problem and they fed me the BS about the $1100 of fees are on every vehicle and bla bla.

$399 Tire Exam - Get Real
$399 Blue Steel - Sean in finance told me this was free but NTN wouldn't take it off when it was pointed out.
$299 Uniseal - a complete bogus charge

Better call me soon North Texas Nissan.

Tell us how you really feel. Hope it all works out for you.
so which "north texas nissan" dealership are you referring?
If the truck wasn't right when they delivered it why didn't you refuse to accept it? There is no way I would have driven it off the lot until I was happy I don't care what I had signed. I would have taken a couple pictures of everything that was wrong with the new truck and let them know I would be driving my old truck off the lot to see an lawyer just in case they wanted to get stupid. If it's not as they promised you have every right to walk away.

Exactly,I would not have left the lot with these issues.Just wondering why you left unresolved. If that had happened to me. It would have been a major stink fest in there.:fart:
Oh I had to leave before I really lost my temper. Corinth (Denton), TX North Texas Nissan. Off I-35 on the West side of the road

So, did you get the new truck or walk out without buying?
I don't know about North Texas, but I DO know I'll avoid Nissan of McKinney. I drove 3+ hours from Shreveport to Dallas to see a truck I'd been discussing with them for 2 weeks. You'd think they would tell me that it was sold already...especially before I got to Dallas. And yes, I called before I left
weird- I bought mine there from Canada- site unseen, and had a great experience. Everything was pristine and ready to go. I picked it up a month after I bought it with zero faults.

It was a rather big dealership, so they must do a fair bit of business. It's too bad you went thru that.

Was it new or used?
had pretty terrible service from them to. They did not follow through on the things they said they would fix and completely avoided the issue when i tried to have it fixed

Sorry to say but thats a very common practice....I have had it happen to me. Once I called from the parking lot of the dealership and was told the truck was there, then i told the sale guy...OK then im here come show me....he walked out and told me that it was just sold....there all liars.
I bought mine at Patterson in Longview, TX becuase I just didn't get a warm fuzzy about my local dealers in Shreveport/Bossier. The experience was the best so far.
I hate to say it about any dealership but you have to go in acting like a jerk and have no mercy. Be prepared to walk away.
I was a member on another forum called dfwstangs.net
There is a NTN section on there. I wanna say the owners name is Rob and the screen name of Cele3. Sign up and send him a PM through that site explaining what is going on and try to get it fixed. There has been nothing but positive feedback on there from alot of members about NTN. Give it a try and see if you can get it taken care of.

This story doesn't make sense. How could you not notice that kind of a $$ difference when you go over the contract? Most important, who is going to accept a vehicle with damage that was not disclosed at the time of the sale? Paint chips, dents, I just don't get it. After we started asking questions the guy was out of here. Not another post explaining why he accepted the deal and the truck. If he did, even that isn't really clear from his post. Maybe he did walk, I would hope so.

I've experienced much worse there.
Update: The dealer had the body shop fix the dent via PDR (Paintless Dent Repair) and had the chips touched up. They have also agreed to refund the 1100 once they are funded from the bank.

I didn't walk away because I for one like to make things work out in the end and if everyone does the right thing, a lesson is learned on both sides. I guess that's why I'm not divorced by now

The reason for me not noticing the price jump was the numbers I saw where "supposed" to be before trade in and TT&L but it turns out they where the numbers with the equity from my trade-in minus TT&L. This is while my 5 year old is kranky and ready for bed, my wife and 1 month old were bout to bite my head off. You should understand how that can happen.

I concur with you on Mckinney Nissan. They shipped my car to an auction with my 18" chrome rims and $700 alarm. The deal was for them to take them off. Drove 300 miles to get the old rims, came back and the car was gone and wouldnt reimburse me for it.
I bought mine through the internet department at North TX Nissan. I had a great experience and walked out of there with the truck that I wanted at a price less than what was quoted to me over the phone/internet. I'd definitely go back.
FINAL UPDATE (Good News): So North Texas Nissan Corinth did the right thing and refunded the money today that they charged that was not discussed and fixed the flaws that the truck had when it arrived. They were very polite today and on my last visit and I hope the future service/maintenance will be the same.

Many thanks to Mychael101 and Chris T.

BTW - got my fist mods today, factory bug shield and ordered fitted weathertech floor liners. I want this thing to look good for many years and i hope it runs forever.

I also bought mine off of the internet department and I would certainly go back, I was handled professional and everything went great!
