I noticed last night that the back lighting to my steering wheel controls are flickering when I turn the wheel. It seems to happen more to the left than the right. Was wondering if anyone has ever had this problem before and if there's an easy fix without taking the steering wheel off. I know it's not a big deal but it is annoying.
I assume that there is an rotating contact that is probably just dirty. I'll try spraying some electrical contact cleaner in there later today. I was just wondering if it could be something else as well.

You can pull the air bag out, then take the switches apart without taking the whole steering wheel itself off the steering shaft

Could be the clockspring.
