Whats up fellow Titan owners. I have a question for you. I have an 06 CC 4x4 and the speakers are... Well, descent. However, if I plug my iphone in tonthe auxiliary port, now all of a suden they sound great, and the bass doubles, at least. I was just wondering if this is typical, and if there is anything I can do to make them sound that good all the time. Appreciate any and all advise

This is actually atypical. A lot of people complain about the sound quality out of the aux port on the stock stereo. Mine has always been good but some people have had problems with theirs. I suspect you're just seeing the benefit of an amplified signal, which is then expanded with the stock head unit's amplifier.

EQ setting on your iPhone is on bass booster? If you're going from FM radio to aux port it's going to sound better. FM is crap.

It's because you are amplifying the sound by using the volume of your phone. If you turn the volume up and down on your phone you will see that it affects the volume in the truck. the eq will affect the sound because it's directly related to the output to the stereo.

Thanks guys. I knew the volume of the phone would adjust the overall volume, just couldnt figure out why the sound was so much more crisp, and the bass had so much more... Well, bass. Id like the stereo to sound like that at all times. I guess ill just upgrade the speakers, but first, suspension tweaks. Again... Thanks
