My 2006 SE 4WD w/Big Tow package sunroof doesn't respond at all to the tilt or open/close switches...I've tried the reset procedure with no change so I'm startin to think its either motor or switches. I opened the compartment where the switches are and everything was clean and connected---is there any way to test for power going to the switches and in turn motor ?

I hate to just start buying parts without having some clue that I will move toward to resolution

I'm going slowly because I don't want to get sunroof moved and stuck open or tilted if i do something wrong

Anyone have diagrams or electrical test procedure for this problem??

I don't have a moon roof, so I'm not sure. It's either on the passenger side kick panel, or under the hood on the passenger side. Grab your test light and check them out. Could be a relay as well.

There aren't any fuses for sun roof that I can find -- looked under hood and in passenger side fuse block

If the BCM or Extended Storage/Transit switches/fuses are set the windows wouldn't work

Does anyone have the wiring diagram for the sunroof switches so I can if they are getting 12V ??

I stopped at the local Nissan dealer and the tech was aid to be their Titan Specialist -- and he seemed like he knoew what he was doin -- he printed me several wiring/fuse diagrams -- I found the 10 amp A type fuse in the fuse holder under the hood -- he also said there was a 50 AMP fuse in the RelayFuseble Link Box next to the firewall -- well I opened that up and it didn't match the diagram he printed for me -- mine had a board that was in there on a diagonal that had fuses and what looked like relays and there was also a fuse blick in front of that diagonal board but the cover didn't show and 50AMP fuses or fusible links

Am I looking in the wrong place ??

Mine worked intermittently for a while. I didn't use it much, but it finally got stuck open when it stopped responding altogether. It turned out to be the motor. It was $400 or so from the dealer. I picked up a whole sunroof assembly with glass, motor, and tracks for $250 from a junkyard. Swapped the motor in and sold the glass and tracks for $200.
