You will not pass smog nor pass the visual inspection in Cali bro.

Now....if you put high flow cats in the B pipes she should pass the sniffer test. But the visual.....she will not pass.

Now you may know someone that knows someone that will pass it. But if you don't....your taking a risk on it.

True being a new vehicle you have a little bit of time. However when you sell it....are you going to put the stock manifolds back on...or will someone want a vehicle that is not smog legal.

I personally have JBA short tube headers......stock cats are in place.....big ole CARB stamp on them.

I don't have cams and my truck has ran a 14.1 so they don't perform too bad wouldn't you say.

Any engine codes, or does keeping the stock cats in place solve that? Are you running lean, or is this just an issue when removing the cats?

When you leave the stock cats nothing changes...I had no codes since putting them on in April.

I ran slightly lean at about 13.0:1 which isn't too bad for this truck at all. This truck ran a 14.40 before getting tuned by UpRev. UpRev tunes the truck to run at 12.6:1 until 4500 rpms then it's programmed to his 13.0.

I had JBA exhaust, JBA headers, and Injen CAI when I ran the 14.40.

Now it's got S&B CAI and UpRev and ran 14.1
