Stillen Super Charger

Well i've been looking around and apparently the Stillen Super Charger is the only forced induction system available to the Titan. I was just wondering how much torque and hp im going to get if i purchase one? and im guessing it is a twin screw supercharger? is there going to be any other forced induction systems out soon for the titan? I think that the downfall of the Titan is that it doesn't have much support from the mod market.

Get everything in writing before you buy...

I would also like to add, if you are going to get ANY type of forced induction, I would HIGHLY recommend the following mods to go with it:

Stillen VB Upgrade
TruTrac
Headers w/ HIGH Flow CATs
Cipher (to data log what is going on)

Gauges possibly, but, CIpher can help ya out..
The Stillen VB could be a waste of money. Saw 1 or 2 posts on it. Folks got it done and it still blew the tranny.

Go with the Vortech...
Hmmm.....Qship has all the listed items that Warp09 listed but STILL insist on the Vortech is. I've heard alot of really great things about Vortech and how reliable their systems are. You change the oil like you normally do...just a quart or two more.

If forced induction isn't your thing, I'm considering a cheaper go fast part. The new Jim Wolf cams. Take a Q45 Throttle Body, Headers, Tune, and Cam's...then you got a beast in your hands. Around $3000 you can make your TITAN go as fast a blown TITAN...not to sure about the Vortech though. Of course, you would probably need a Tru-trac to put that power to the ground.
Why would he say though? I saw a thread, but I don't re-call what was exactly wrong with the truck..
Yes, you can still blow your transmission after the VB is done by removing the WOT, not a smart move - therefore said, if your willing to pay a minium of $4500 for a transmission build up by all means remove the WOT, if not "Do Not Remove THE WOT". Hope this helps.

Read my post on the other Titan site. It's titled 'Never Again Stillen.'

I tried to reply to your PM, but it's full.

Let me know when I can send you a PM.
I was thinking about the reason why Nissan put the restriction on our T/B. Maybe its because our trucks can't handle the huge amount of power being put down. Did you see Toomnymods vid of his truck w/cams? He just floored it and the speedo just jumped up to 40 and finally caught on a couple seconds later. Maybe Nissan acctually knew what they were doing when they put that restriction in the computer.
Yes, that is why Nissan placed a limit on the TB, if you bypass this, say with new cams and a shot of No2 chance is you will drop your transmission. If want to touch 500hp or more be ready to spend over 15k. Q, PM is ready.
I have a Stillen S/C for sale....great shape and very low miles PM me if you are interested...
