Sub and KC enclosure for sale (San Diego) -SOLD

I have been storing this inside for something like 3 or 4 years now and just want it gone.

It's a 600 Watt RMS 10" Sub and ported box for a King Cab. My truck is an 05, but I believe it would fit in 04-08's? Maybe even newer models (someone please correct me if I am wrong).

it says 500 RMS on the box but I was working with probox to try different subs, and it currently has a 600 RMS sub in it. This one sounded about the same as their typical 500 Watt model but got louder and handled more power. I only used this sub very briefly (I don't think I even used it for more than a 10 days)...

I'm currently running another probox that was a prototype so I have no need for two.

only the sub fits in it? or would an amp fit in the box as well?

I suppose you could rig one into there but I'm not sure that putting an amp in a box would be a good idea. You would need to consider running power and ground lines into the box, drilling screws into the box can cause air leaks etc. My amps are mounted behind the rear seat.

It may be the pics that are deceivingly small looking but how well does that thing pound?

It gets pretty damn loud due to it being in a ported enclosure that fires towards the rear passenger door.

There is certainly some heft to the magnet on the woofer.

It's been a while since I have hooked it up, I can't remember if it was louder or less loud than my 2 10's although I'd lean towards slightly less loud than both of them but also depending on the frequencies being played of course.

I should add that this isn't a plastic box, it is made from milled out MDF, and coated with some bed liner type material.

I'd prefer not to the sheer size and weight, but if you know an affordable method of doing so and covered shipping and no one wants it locally then I'd ship.

Still interested? it's a good deal I can assure you. But it's sitting in my living room and it does not belong there. It would look much nicer in your truck.

you plan on going to the SS Meet???

Haven't done any meets in a long time. Kinda stopped modding and lovin the truck as much when the diff started leaking the last time. Although it has since stopped leaking after the mod (ok one more mod done to fix that problem lol).

- just looked, that meet is on my birthday so I probably won't make it. but if you want to stop by and have a beer I'll be here haha. Seriously trying to figure out what to do for my 30th that won't cost a fortune, maybe just have a keg or something I dunno...

It should, the KC rear seat is lower so you would have more space if anything. Only one way to find out how good the fir would be though.

are you willing to cover the shipping? I think it would be close to what I am asking for the subwoofer and box. It's heavy and big after all.

Correction: I said it was made of MDF, it's made from CNC Machine HDF. I doubt it makes much difference for sound although HDF is probably more expensive and easier to mill.
