OK,i know pappad did a write up on it but for those of us with the AEM brute force intake i'll try to show what it looks like.
Over all easy install with no problems at all, looks great and other people are checking you out automatically."maybe i can find my tundra to race".
With the AEM you will need to expand the box because the inlet from the ram air is a little off.Lets see if the pics show,if not i'll work on the pics.
Its off getting painted now for $250.

are the red marks where your air box hits?

Looks like the red and blueish marks are the contact points.

Looks sweet. Thanks for posting pics. Did you just increase the seal material?
Didn't get a chance yet,it was raining and i wanted to get it off to the painter.I'm going to have to bring it out a couple inches to get all the air to dump in the box.

Ah i see the rain on the bumper now. I woulda been like "just my luck" if i had gotten it back and it was raining. Seems llike this time of year nothing works out right if you dont have a garage or a shop. I know you are ready to get it hooked up. Did your dealer paint it or a local shop?

Its at a local shop for $250,dealer wanted $400 to paint it.The shop i took it to said he should have it ready before i go offshore on Tuesday,so we'll see.
If it stops raining i'm going to do some logs see what the MAF readings and temps are with the stock hood and then with this hood. Not looking for much out of it just a better look.

That Suncoast looks really good painted. I've been waiting a while to see how they look painted along with the rest of the truck. Great look.
It looks like your painter did a great job color matching with the truck. Kudos to him!

Your hood looks fantastic, looks like whoever you had paint it knew what they were doing!

Has the angle of the front lip changed much from standard, wondering if it will accept a Lund deflector like the stock hood?

Maybe a deflector would block some of the air you are trying to send in, has the same lines as a stock hood.

Thanks guys,i ran a log with it.My MAF high was a 270 before and now i'm hitting a 280.It has been cooler around here but maybe i'm getting a little more air in her. Will find out in Feb when the track opens back up .
I want to see how far i can dig into those 13 sec.
Nick, i'm still working around the intake to take full advantage of the hood, maybe i'll have it right by FEb. when the track opens.

wow, very nice... thanks for those awesome before and after paint pics... I think I am definitely, without a doubt, sold on this hood vs. the other ram air versions out there... now to get in on the GB before the end of the year, which happens to be in 1 1/2 days time...
