i run 93 tune and its sick
do you think it really adds 30 hp and 40 ft lbs of torque
It doesn't add that much. I wanna say I remember one of the superchips guys saying that the 93 tune gained 21 hp, but who knows. I like the 87 tune the best. What's more important is the hp it adds through the entire powerband, not just peak hp. If you don't have a superchips, and won't be getting headers, get it or the bullydog

I did before I got UpRev.

A great hand held IMO.
I would suggest the bullydog due to the ability to monitor all the gauge options it has. Unless you get a good deal on a used superchips.

I had it and it was alright very slow to upload and download. I now have a BDGT newest version and damn its fast and truck feels better with this programer.
So you guys are saying you liked the BDGT better than the Superchips as a whole? I dont think ill be getting headers because i like the way my truck sounds now and dont really want to change it. I have just heard that people like the programers and they seem to be reliable.
well as i said before i have had both and no have the BDGT and i can say its alot better. The cortex on the first time i used it, it shut down and my truck didnt want to turn on. I guess it froze. The bully dog literally rape the cortex on how fast it took to install the tune.
Im sure the cortex is fine but for $10 more you can get a better unit in the bdgt. It is fast and easy to install. The monitor can be personalized to your liking and I enjoy the driving coach as it helps me stay out of the throttle to save gas. I have mine mounted to the rearview mirror using the blendmount and is a very clean install. You can monitor and set alarm limits with the bdgt. I also like the performance testing option that will give you o-60 time, 60 ft and 1/8-1/4 mile time with mph. Now the cortex wont do that! If you are gonna get a new one I would call autoanything and haggle with them on the price. I got mine for $355 to the door and the reg price was $399.
ok cool. Yeah im a big fan of autoanything they have the best customer service and shipping. Thanks for the info I will be seeing about getting this asap
You should make some research i bought my BDGT Tipple tuner for $200 brand new on craigslist.
I suppose for a 2004 T the BDGT isn't compatable?? I read on some sites it says for 04-11 and I read on here it is 05-11...WTF??

I really want a BDGT cuz I really like all the options it has as far as monitoring and the coach option.
I just installed my Superchips Cortex that I got on Ebay for $224.99. It took a minute to update and it took a few minutes to program my truck (91 performance) but I noticed the difference in power backing out of my driveway. I jumped on the freeway and even with my bigger wheels and tires my slip light kept blinking until about 50mph at WOT:eveilgrin. Definitely added alot of power but I'm not sure how it compares to the BDGT.
