So I've read quite a bit on this today. Going to be going with a 6" PC lift soon. Will probably run the Toyo Open Country A/T II's in 35x12.50R20 (34.5"). I'm currently running those same tire in a 305/55R20 (33.2") flavor.

I am a 4wd and have the wimpy 2.94 gears. (I learned my lesson that the Big Tow package would have been worth the extra money at the time.) With going to 35's I have read everyone recommends going to 3.73 gears (for the most part).

I've been nosing around 4x4parts.com and want to know if these two things are what I need for the swap, and what else I will need to do for a successful swap? Thanks.

I went 4.11s because of a deal i stumbled upon that i couldn't pass up, and am super happy i didnt go with 3.73s, its well worth it IMO.

What you posted is correct, other than you will need master install kits for both front and rear. also the front and the rear gears require a specific pinion flange, so make sure you have them on your truck already, and if not you will need to purchase them as well.

I found this master kit from Rugged Rocks (a little pricey. The saying "you gotta pay to play" really is true. Lol).

Comes with front and rear and the master install kits for both. I'm not sure what flanges I need though. I see 24 spline and 29 spline options for both the front and rear?

From my reading on here, I was under the impression that the cruise control is only lost on 2WD models when they swap. For some reason the 4WD models are able to keep theirs.

When you purchase the gears, the page will show what pinion is required. I believe the 08+ trucks already have the correct pinion. But again, you can call and confirm over the phone, as they will be more knowledgeable about this sort of thing.

Anytime bud. Maybe the 2wd can get theyre ECU reflashed to 4wd to get theyre cruise control back? Never tried it with my old Titan...

Yeah I may need to call them. I don't see on rugged rock's website where it tells me which one I need. Hopefully you are correct that 08+ already have the correct one. Saves me some money.

Yes, my Rpm's are now (i think) in the sweet spot. I can pass people in overdrive with just adding a little gas, and it gains speed. Before, as soon as i touch the gas pedal a little more, it would downshift almost instantly. Ive also noticed 1.5mpg increase average over the last 8 tanks of gas (how many ive gone through since i put the gears in). Before i hovered between 9-10mpg consistently, now im right at 11-11.3 consistantly. And i havent exactly been driving it easier than before either.

All in all, i would do it again.

The front it doesnt say, it just says select the appropriate spline count, and then gives you the option of both in the "Options" section:

It is important that you count the pinion flange splines. Select Appropriate Spline Count Above

But then when you check the 4.11 front ring and pinion, it says to purchase the 29 spline flange, which in my opinion, would be the same for the 3.73 gears, as they are all made by the same manufacturer:

It is important that you count the pinion flange splines. If your Titan has a 24 spline flange, you will need to purchase the optional 29 spline flange.

Now what spline flange you have on the front/rear will take some more research, but nothing is more accurate than going out there and counting it yourself.

From looking again, the 04-06 full package kit does come with new 24 spline front & rear yokes, where the 07-15 kit does not come with the additional splines. So I'm assuming, that 07-15 years have the correct yokes already if you go with the 3.73 gears. But like you, I'm not sure why the 4.10 gears would require the 29 spline yoke. I need to take the time to just call them up.

sounds like I need to swap for 373 or 410. Other than the occasional trailer load to the dump or hauling one of the other toys around seems could benefit the mpg. no cruise option to worry about with my S package lol.
