So I was just browsing the forum looking at LED threads and stumbled upon "switchbacks"..

I had never heard of them before and they look pretty sweet..

Found these off a link a member gave - LEGIT LED Spotless Switchbacks w/ Built in Error Free Decoder

So these will give our trucks daytime running lights via LED and then the LED strip will turn amber when the turn signals are on? And then back to DRLs?

They are fairly blue, but not too bad. The amber for the turn signal is not really visible in direct sunlight, but are very visible at night/in shade.

Those look badass.. So are they on during the day? Like DRL? Bummer to hear you can't see them in sunlight.. That can't be very safe..

depends on which ones you get. Go through theretrofitsource.com. I run their 6" strips in my retrofitted headlights....the Amber is SUPER bright, the DRL is super intense white. I wired them to my stock orange running lights/blinker.

Dude! Do you lock you truck at night? Might come to check if your headlights are properly torqued down. :devil:

Honda did you get the Morimoto XSB strips? Yours look different.

kmccb23 my LED's are on any time the key is switched to IGN. They are white unless I hit the turn signal then flash amber. There are a couple ways you can wire them if you don't want to use them as turn signals. I also got mine from the retrofit source.

Ha go for it man. They have issues and don't seal at all cause it gets so hot the butyl sealant gets super soft and the lense pulls away. Also one lense has like a chemical stain on the inside and the same side light plastic is broke where the bolt goes to secure it to the fender. Hit up Charlie morse "pyramid automotive". He does clean builds stupid fast.

Yeah I bought a whole bunch of parts off a former member and built these. The cubes are super ****ty haha.

That's pretty sick the cube in the headlight. What about running with no lens?
