congrats on the truetrac you will love it. Mine will be 1 week old tommorrow
so far it's been wonderful. I think this is the best mod we can do for our trucks. The best thing about truetrac is that there is no more of that
annoying clicking slip light. I hated that slip light with a passion.

I never had a sliplight or anything come on when spinning my tires and what not, wierd, one time I did it when it was wet and somehow redlined it and with uprev I had it set to a 6000 rpm limiter and it broke past it and after that I slowed it down and it was like it wouldnt go over 25 mph and 2500rpm for a minute till i pulled over and restarted my truck.owell I cant wait till I get it on!
Had mine installed last week! Totally different truck now. YEEEHaw! Also put a Mag-Hytech diff cover on and new carrier bearings... You will love the tt just be carefull hitting the gas when taking a corner, especially if the pavement is wet.
Wohoooo.. I found a place whos doin it for 150$ + new bearings. Decent price I think. Goin get it done prolly thursday or so

If you mean by how much it usually is, ive seen around 250 min or so up to 350 for the install.

were did you order it from?
www.4x4parts.com
They were backordered for like 3 days when I ordered it but once they had it they shipped it decently quick. It was on time and they are easy to communicate with. The price of the trutrac was around 572 with tax shipped.

your want for it will become a need if you start reading other threads on it.:)
Everyone pretty much has this, but what exactly is the benefits. Will i be able to "burn" both tires?
yes when you trump on it the truetrac locks up both axles and you will see
TWO black lines. I's not so much about laying 2 black lines, it's more about
traction. more traction in the rain, the snow, the mud, because both tires are spinning at the same time.
hope this helps

Will a tru trac screw up like the stock rear end?

From what I understand of it, it replaces just about everything in the rear. Also the stock rearends are weak and the trutrac is muchmuch stronger and therfore = better:)
You mentioned a weird hesitation with your truck a while back I think...... Think true trac will fix it?

The truetrac will replace the weak spider gears that is the main cause of failure.

Im about to find out, I felt it again kick somewhat hard earlier today.if it doesnt fix it, i think I may know what it is. When I brought my truck in to get my axel seals replaced, the guy where I went had a titan to and he said theres this rubber peice under on the drivetrain or somethin like that somewheres and said it just wears in and would make it do that but idk. What was funny tho was he put his titan on the lift to see how what would have to be done to change the seals and noticed his were leaking just as bad as mine.
