For sale are all the parts from the tailgate assist conversion thread for making the 04 have tailgate assist (minus the washers from the hardware store). It was a bit over $130 for me to get everything after I spent a good amount of time pricing it all out.
I wanted to install to help the wife/kids out, but haven't got around to it since May. My loss is your gain.
