the right side lock of the tailgate has been malfuntioning :teeth: ...still can close (by left side only). a minor deal that the dealer will fix, but i'm just curious if anyone else is having problems with their tailgate...

p.s. a chevy ext. cab 4x4 2500HD with 6.0L v8 (a weaker engine than titan's 5.6L) that weights 5,600#s costs about $8000 (invoice price) more than my 5300# titan. the only advantage is that the chevy is (right now) equipped with a limited slip differential real axle. for off roading weight to power ratio is a factor.

Somebody somewhere had a post saying that there is a bar inside the tailgate that falls off. It was a very easy fix. Can't remember which board it was on..
